Design has always been in Taylor's blood. Her mother is an artist with an architectural background, and her father is the president of Bogart Construction, a commercial general contracting firm. She remembers watching her mother sketch her own ideas for their family home and tackle home renovations. Growing up, Taylor tore through the pages of architectural digest, scrapbooking home images she was inspired by.
In the years since, Taylor received her design degree in New Orleans. She started her design career over 6 years ago and had the privilege of working for Olivia Erwin Interiors, DMInteriors, and Susan Currie Designs. Each designer introduced Taylor to various styles for clients across the country.
Most recently Taylor parted ways with Restoration Hardware where she was the gallery designer for the Durham/Raleigh location. She led and oversaw a team of designers, working on large scale projects in the North Carolina and Alabama territories.
She currently resides in North Carolina with her husband and black lab. In her free time she enjoys tennis and traveling. She draws design inspiration from art and culture around the world.
